Photography
My journey into photography began on a college roadtrip through California. Though the grainy, unfocused shots from that first point-and-shoot were unremarkable, the act of being behind the camera, and the thrill of not quite knowing how the photos would turn out — proved intoxicating. Today, I practice photography with more mindfulness, seeking to capture that fleeting ‘something’ that invites a deeper, more thoughtful look.

I write to know myself, and the world at large, to a deeper, more meaningful degree. As a tool, writing allows me to imagine better, weirder, and more fantastical futures, while also ushering me to root into the now. My work is a mix of fiction and non-fiction.
